Tarnetar Melo is a fair where courtship is expressed through elaborate, decorated umbrellas created by young men to attract a potential partner.
With the peacock as a recurring motif on these umbrellas, the project distils these two cultural elements into a single, contemporary mark.

The palette draws from the romantic and celebratory character of the fair. A spectrum of pinks reflects themes of courtship, attraction and affection.

The Gujarati Typeface was chosen for its consistent line weight so that it doesn’t overshadow the main form of the logo.
